At Freestyle Equestrian Center the emphasis in our breeding program is on quality, not quantity.  We strive for excellence, not only in the foals we produce, but the care and handling of the mares and babies.

All of the horses at Freestyle Equestrian Center are handled a minimum of twice a day.  Foals are started on basic ground manners and leading beginning with their first day of life.  By weaning time the youngsters will have amassed a repertoire of skills that includes leading, standing to be groomed, bathing, picking up their feet, clipping, moving the various parts of their bodies away from pressure, standing for the farrier and accepting the administration of dewormers and shots.

We choose our mares, and the stallions we breed them to, not only for their physical talents and capabilities, but also with an eye to disposition and that all-important trainability factor.  After all, talent is useless if you can't access it.  Our broodmares are broodmares because they make good broodmares, not because they were failures as riding horses.  Due to the constant and consistent handling and interaction, the broodmares are not only comfortable with people, but actively seek out their company and attention.  This attitude is imparted to their offspring, greatly facilitating the early training process.  We take pride in breeding talented Hanoverian and Oldenburg prospects who are sane, sensible, outgoing, tractable and people oriented.

Please check the Horses For Sale page to view any foals we currently have available.  Feel free to contact us about the availability of future foals.
