Sister, better known as "Jade", is a 1997 Dk. Bay 15.2h TB mare who is
approved in the North
American ISR/Oldenburg
Main Mare Book.
Bought as a young prospect, a tragic foot injury abruptly ended her
promising
riding career. Her first foal, Facsimile FS, has shown that she
is
an excellent broodmare. With Facsimile FS, she allowed the
desirable
qualities of Weltstern to be prominent, while passing on her elegant
head
and pleasant disposition. Jade herself has an enviable pedigree
and her sire, John Alden, makes her a half sister to Alden's Image who
was a winner at the Kentucky Rolex Olympic Horse Trials.
