As
Stable Manager for Freestyle Equestrian Center, Diana Phillips
brings
extensive
experience in managing large barns. Her work with rescue and
rehabilitation has substantially enhanced her knowledge base for
providing premium maintenance care and immediate and effective
emergency care when necessary. Her close and highly interactive
relationship with our veterinarians means your horse will have the best
care available.
Diana has been training with Gloria
Mullins, her
mother, since the age
of
six. At age seven she experienced her first successes at Dressage
shows and quickly moved on to include Combined Training. Being the
youngest
(and therefore the smallest) rider in the barn earned her the
(sometimes
dubious) honor of working the very green, fresh off the track
thoroughbreds
while they developed balance and muscle. This has given her a very
perceptive
and secure seat and allows her to be very tactful and encouraging to
young
horses. Melding
the horse and rider into a team and preserving the enthusiasm of both
are
her primary goals in training.
